Traci Howard Moore is the Director of Student Success and Transitions at Austin College.  In this role, she works to provide leadership for persistence and re-enrollment for Austin College students. She collaborates with multiple divisions across campus to create student success initiatives and works one-on-one with students to help them be successful on their journey towards graduation and their life beyond.
Howard Moore has worked in a variety of student services roles throughout her career. She began her career in higher education at Nebraska Wesleyan as an Admissions Counselor and then went on to develop and lead persistence efforts for underrepresented students. She spent sixteen years at California Western Law School in San Diego working as Director of Diversity, and then as Assistant Dean for Admissions. She earned a bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.
Howard Moore moved to Texas in 2015 and accepted a position as College and Career Counselor at Collin College where she helped high school students navigate through and develop their post-high school plans.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA of Collin County, and lives in McKinney with her partner, Charles, and their pups Nico and Mylo.
