Shawn Teamann has lived in the Texoma area since 1982 (his entire life). He attends church at Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman, Tx with his wife, of 10 years, Randi, daughter Charli Kate, and son Beckham. Shawn has been an owner and respected business leader at Nautilus Family Fitness for more than 18 years. He is currently serving his second term on the Sherman City Council. He is the Secretary Treasurer of the Texoma Behavioral Health Leadership Team Executive Committee, an ex-officio board member of the Sherman Economic Development Corporation, President of the Sherman Kiwanis Club, and a Sherman Chamber of Commerce board member.

In an effort to create an “Okay To Say” work place, Shawn successfully encouraged all Nautilus Family Fitness managers to complete mental health first aid training. He implemented paid time off for personal days, and he created weekly team accolade sessions. Shawn has a passion for advancing the state of community mental health, and It brings him great joy to serve on the executive committee of the TBHLT.
